I am a graduate scriptwriting student pursuing my Master's at Goldsmiths, University of London. My fiction work focuses mainly on historical dramas and international stories.
With experience in writing and research, as well as podcast producing and presenting, I am also passionate about learning and sharing real-life stories with others through audio media. My interests center around storytelling that brings history to life, and sheds light where there is stigma, stereotypes, and false narratives, whether it be the lives of working-class women in 1870s France or the day-to-day life of teenagers living in Lebanon. I seek to inform my audiences while also entertaining them and defying their expectations.
I also have previous experience in photojournalism and sports photography. First studying with The School of the New York Times in their Summer School program, I gained valuable experience in photojournalism and writing, spending two weeks exploring New York City and completing various assignments involving interviewing and portrait photography.
Later as the social media intern for the Men's Tennis Team at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, I was responsible for photographing players at practices and games, as well as running the team's social media page by creating stories and posts advertising matches and sharing player profiles.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University. I graduated with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, and finished having maintained a GPA of 3.9.
I am a passionate learner who is eager for the next challenge.
